3 Must-See Sessions at ASHE Conference in Nashville

by | Aug 7, 2021 | Best Practices

The ASHE Annual Conference 2021 in Nashville brings together the nation’s top experts in healthcare facilities management and engineering! We’re very excited to meet all of you there and welcome you to our Booth #421!

Here are the Three Must-See Sessions at this year’s flagship conference.

#1: Into the Unknown: How Leadership, Ingenuity & Perseverance Put A Rover on Mars

Speaker: Adam Steltzner, Leader & Chief Engineer, NASA Mars 2020 Mission, Rover Perseverance

When: Monday, 9th August, 8.00am at Karl F. Dean Grand Ballroom

    SESSION DESCRIPTION

Only Adam Steltzner and his talented team at Jet Propulsion Lab could follow their “Curiosity” rover success with the stunning Mars 2020 mission to land the rover “Perseverance” on the red planet. The magnificent landing on Mars on February 18, 2021 was akin to hurling a dart from New York City to land in a five-foot circle in Washington, D.C. More than a technological achievement, the successful mission stands as an extraordinary leadership accomplishment in the midst of a global pandemic. In his exhilarating keynote, full of fascinating anecdotes and breathtaking images, Steltzner shares his own innovation challenges, leadership struggles and flawless execution. Most importantly, he shows how you can overcome daunting obstacles in times of uncertainty and change. The human spirit is boundless, and Steltzner leaves you unafraid to journey from your comfort zone to explore your own exciting future.

CMS requires the monthly testing of dozens of life safety devices. Satisfying these testing requirements manually takes up huge amounts of time, returns uncertain test results, and requires difficult to maintain paper records.
